We don’t believe in mass produced, generic designs that lack character, quality and skill. Everything we do is an original design. Each piece represents the artist's creative abilities and technical skills. When it comes to colors, patterns and form we like to let our imagination run wild - that way you get a piece that nobody else has. When it comes to making a piece beautiful, skill is not enough. The aesthetics of a piece rely heavily on the artistic capability of the glassblower. Beyond technical skill, our talented blowers have instinctive feel for how colors flow and work together with a pattern to compliment the shape of the piece. When we’re finished you get a gorgeous pipe that looks and feels like it should only be used on special occasions BUT is meant to be used in your everyday ritual.

For those of you who take pride in your pipe.   At BadaBing Glaswerk, mass produced, pre-manufactured glass is a “no-go”. We start each piece with a clear glass tube and a torch then we work on it – until it’s perfect!   Not to brag but we are pretty awesome at our craft. We have been in this industry for years and absolutely love what we do. Each piece we create is intricately designed and hand-blown with technical skill by a scientific glass artist. Heavy wall glass tubing is used so your piece is thicker, heavier, and stronger. No time limits allows us to cool the glass slowly eliminating all stresses induced while being made. The joints are sturdy and attached with extra care, transitions between welds are smooth, and all glass on glass (GONG) seals are perfectly fused together. Each pipe is hand-blown and built to last.

Borosillicate? Yes, please! All glass is not created equal! The type of glass used when designing your pipe can make a BIG difference in how long your pipe lasts. One big reason we only work with borosilicate, commonly referred to as Scientific glass or Pyrex glass, is because it results in a much stronger finished piece, that is easy to clean and stands up to the wear and tear of use without breaking or cracking. That means your piece will last longer, can handle the constant heating and cooling from your torch or Enail, AND… it allows us to fix something if you’ve had an accident.
